With The Holidays Upon Us, Don’t Go Nuts, Go Bananas!

Posted November 4, 2022

Whoa! Here comes the holidays and everyone’s to-do list will be doubling! Between preparing for family visits and overall entertaining, we know the common question, “what should I get them this year?” is very top-of-mind. Luckily, Brambleton has plenty of opportunities to shop local.

The Brambleton Town Center business owners are part of our community, and as such, know exactly what will make the holidays top-notch for all. From restaurants to something special for your 4-legged bestie, opportunities to dance & sing and everything in between, our amazing businesses and business owners are committed to serving the community in every way.

Your first stop? Go Bananas! Our favorite local toy shop has something for the child in all of us! Look for this year’s holiday catalog already in the mail, and shop early for their Black Friday Sale on November 25 from 10 AM – 12 PM!

Go Bananas’ Holiday 2022 Toy Catalog will be arriving soon!

Every year, Go Bananas researches and curates the best of the best in every area of children’s lives and makes it all available to the children of Loudoun County, both in person and online in an exciting and inviting environment. The store balances entertainment and education to make sure kids have the opportunity to learn while they play, helping them develop their curiosity without losing their sense of fun. Whether your child is interested in music, science or magic, Go Bananas will surely have something to wow your favorite young person. The store goes above and beyond to provide toys and activities for every age as well, from infants to pre-teens, so you can rely on them to be there for your child.

The Salvation Army Angel Tree will be placed inside the Brambleton Town Center Pass-Thru and adorned with tags on Wednesday, November 9. Return unwrapped gifts by 5 PM on Monday, December 5.

Brambleton’s local businesses do even more for the community than just provide goods and services though. Go Bananas and many other businesses make a point of hosting and participating in events that give back to the community like Trick-or-Treating or the annual Angel Tree, as well as their own initiatives. They strive to not only meet the community’s needs in the way they do business, but also how they positively impact those members of the community who need a little something extra, both directly and indirectly. Supporting these businesses allows them to continue to not only employ community members and serve them via their business, but also gives them the ability to continue to pay it forward.

If you are still figuring out the best gifts for your list this season, consider supporting local businesses. The care they put into their experience is unmatched (if you head over to Go Bananas, every purchase can be wrapped for free). Whether you’re looking for something special for just one person or the whole gang, there is sure to be a local business with just the right stuff.
