When Marti and his fiancée Liz decided it was time to move out of their South Riding home, staying in the area was a no-brainer. Their major wish list criteria? A good school district for their three children – one each in elementary, middle and high school. Enter the new Tri Pointe homes in Brambleton’s West Park neighborhood. The pair learned that Winchester, a builder they had a great experience with previously, was now part of the Tri Pointe family, and from there a partnership was created.
Tri Pointe has opened two new model homes in the West Park neighborhood with everything a family could want. From 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms, up to 4,279 square ft of space and a two car garage, there will be more than enough room for everyone to spend time happily in the house, whether apart or together. Each home in their neighborhood also offers designer kitchens, flex spaces, light-filled bedrooms and private outdoor spaces so each home has its own sanctuaries that keep it close to the amenities Brambleton is known for while allowing for a feeling of privacy for homeowners.
Now, Marti, Liz and their whole family are excited to be wrapping up the construction of their new home, which will be within walking distance to each of the kids’ schools as well as one of Brambleton’s many parks. Given that their new house is brand new, this allowed Marti and Liz to have input on exactly what their dream home will look like. Marti is most excited for the master bathroom, which he plans to use as an oasis when he needs some “me time” (the family not only has three kids but also three dogs). Marti works at a local hospital, so their choice of rain head showers will be the ultimate perk after a long day’s work.
The family chose a number of add-ons as well to customize the house to their needs: a mud room, third bathroom and partially finished basement which will act as a media room for the children, to ensure that the family will have everything they need in their home for years to come. Outside the home itself, proximity to school isn’t the only thing the family is looking forward to. Everyone is eager to spend time on the 18 miles of walking trails which span Brambleton’s community as well as take trips to Regal Cinemas & IMAX. The dogs have given word that they are interested in spending time at the dog park nearby and of course treats at Good Dog Rocky in the Town Center.
Although Marti and Liz have yet to officially move in, they are enthusiastic fans of both their Tri Pointe home and becoming part of the Brambleton family. As Marti put it, Brambleton is “a great community to raise their kids with nearby schools and amenities for everyone within the family.” This family is more than ready to end the summer right with evening bike rides or dog walks on the nearby trails and perhaps an evening trip to Cold Stone Creamery for a sweet snack. Judging by their current plans, it looks like Marti, Liz and the whole gang will be the perfect additions to the amazing Brambleton community.
