Springtime in Brambleton is finally here, but March has been a roller coaster ride of all four seasons. With temps ranging from the 20s to the 80s, our days have been filled with wind, snow, rain and sunshine. From the drawing board to the construction site, our builders have prevailed against Mother Nature’s unpredictability to design and build the quality homes our homebuyers seek! Here are some highlights from this past month:
2017 Year-to-Date (YTD) Sales = 41
Project-to-Date (PTD) Sales = 5,217
Remaining Inventory = 253*
*(neighborhoods include Evermont Trace, Section 33, Town Center Residential & West Park)
You’ll save thousands in closing costs while earning Design Center credit with Van Metre’s Spring Break promotion! Plus you can give back during their Spring of Giving: for all homes purchased through April 30, Van Metre will donate 1% of design studio revenue to Alternative House, Shelter House or Volunteers of America Chesapeake.

The Race Brambleton Series started in 2013 with the idea of promoting several family-friendly events throughout the year to include 5Ks, 10Ks and even a Kids’ Triathlon. In addition, the series promotes a Triple Crown Finisher medal, which is custom made each year and is awarded to participants who complete at least three races in the series. Over the years, many kids, adults and entire families have earned their bling! Each event is family-friendly, and proceeds from all the races will directly benefit one or more local organizations, including community schools. This year there will be five different races in the series for participants of all ages. Two new races in the line up are the summer Splash & Dash and Zombie Run in October. We look forward to another great year of being active in the community and encourage everyone to come out and race with us!

Do you wonder who is participating in the MyBramHealth challenges, and what real health benefits they’re receiving? The first community-wide challenge, “Healthy for the Holidays,” included 8 teams and over 100 Brambleton residents and employees competing to see which team could average the most daily steps. Altogether, participants collectively logged over 27.5 million steps! Not only was a group of your neighbors vowing to eat healthy and move more, but the winning team’s leader, Julianne Benson, a Certified Nutritional Therapy Consultant, was so inspired to share the secrets of her success with the Brambleton community, that she has since collaborated with the Brambleton Community Association to launch the RESTART program.
