Loudoun County dignitaries and VIPs, including Supervisors and Library employees, as well as members of the press, Chesapeake Contracting Group, Inc. and The Brambleton Group L.L.C. were on hand Friday, February 24 for the official ground breaking ceremony for the new Loudoun County Public Library located in the Brambleton Town Center. Crews have begun site development, and construction will soon follow on the 80,000+ square foot commercial office building that will house the library on the 1st and 2nd floors. The Brambleton Group hired HGA Architects and has worked closely with Loudoun County Public Library’s staff to design a state-of-the-art facility providing next-generation technology. General contractor, Chesapeake Contracting Group, Inc., anticipates completion of the building early next year before turning the space over to the library to finalize and open by mid 2018. The Brambleton Group’s acceleration of this proffered amenity allows the library to open three years earlier.
