We first met our neighbor Michelle and her husband Mike this past Summer when we invited them to tour Brambleton with us. We had such a fun time getting to know Michelle and her life story while hanging out on a Downtown Brambleton rooftop terrace, watching the sun set during one of Brambleton’s annual Sizzlin’ Summer Concerts. We had the opportunity to discuss the “surban” lifestyle and how Brambleton has met this trend head on by offering a walkable, connected and modern community with the addition of the About Brambleton
Over the Summer break, we had the opportunity to visit a unique community here in the Northern Virginia area called Brambleton. Brambleton is located in Ashburn, Virginia and is a community like no other in the area.
In the middle of the beautiful homes of Brambleton’s sits a town center with restaurants, shops, local business, and even a movie theater! How cool is it to be able to walk to all your dining, entertainment and shopping needs?! But this community is not only for residents to enjoy but for all! I wanted to highlight some of our favorite places in Brambleton.
Shops
Our first stop on our day at Brambleton was to a toy store called Go Bananas. First of all, can I just say I fell in love with this toy store maybe even more than my kids did! Seriously! I was kicking myself for not visiting this toy store sooner because it is the most perfect place to find a gift for birthday parties and showers. I loved that they had unique toys too. Not just your run of the mill typical toys you find at any department store but more meaningful toys. Toys that engage your child and encourage learning while having fun.
Did I mention that they also wrap the present there for you?! Yep, I’m sold. Go Bananas is now my go-to for all my fun gift shopping!
The Brambleton Town Center also has a clothing boutique, a grocery store, music shop, and Edible Arrangements!
Eats
It’s pretty hard to top visiting a Toy store but if something were to come in a close second it would be frozen yogurt! We walked over to Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt for a sweet treat on such a hot day. The kids loved picking out their own flavors and topping it with some fun toppings. There are so many flavors and toppings to choose from that it is literally the most perfect place to cater to your sweet cravings.
Brambleton has many restaurants right inside its town center with something for everyone and every taste bud. One of our favorites is the Blue Ridge Grill. Their brunch is one of our favorites!!!

Throughout the year Brambleton has many events that bring the neighbors and the community together. From summer concerts to Fall Festivals and a Winter Wonderland, there is fun to be had in Brambleton all year round! And not to be missed is the Farmers’ Market held every Sunday! Bram Life
Having friends who live in Brambleton and visiting there myself, I can tell you that this community is both unique and wonderful. The state of the art homes and landscaping make Brambleton beautiful but what makes it so special is the community of Brambleton that is like no other. But don’t just take my word for it. Go out and enjoy Brambleton for yourself! I know we will be back for a visit real soon!
