Meet These Soon-to-be Newlyweds Who Are Already Married to the Brambleton Lifestyle

Posted February 26, 2020

For Sydney Gennari and her fiancé Andrew Varnum, 2020 is the year that’s giving them a clear vision of their new life together – starting with their move to Brambleton. The couple moved into a new Mayfair model, urban-inspired townhome from Miller & Smith in Downtown Brambleton, in January. Now that they’re settled into their new home, they’ve turned their full attention to planning their wedding for later this year. It’s an exciting time, in an exciting new community.

“We chose Brambleton in large part because of the peaceful setting and the lovely trails and nature nearby,” explains Sydney of their decision to move here. “We’re also excited for the Metro Silver Line to be completed next year. It makes the whole region very accessible. We love spending time in DC, as well,” she added.

Accessibility to the entire National Capital Area from Brambleton is just one key benefit, though. Just as importantly, Sydney and Andrew were attracted by the accessibility they have to everything in Downtown Brambleton and the entire community. Sydney says they love their very walkable street, and are looking forward to connecting with their neighbors and forging new friendships. Being a couple of very social foodies, they’re also looking forward to spending time with those new friends – and old ones – at Downtown Brambleton’s eateries and gathering spots, all just walking distance from home.

“The great restaurants in Brambleton really appeal to us. We love the thought of calm brunches at Blue Ridge Grill or drinks at AhSo in the evenings,” Andrew says. “And the unlimited movies pass option at the nearby movie theater! We can see ourselves walking over and taking advantage of that all the time.”

Back at home, they’re savoring the design focus on food and socializing that their new Miller & Smith townhome provides, from the open kitchen that’s in the center of the main level, to the back porch with its outdoor fireplace.

All in all, Sydney and Andrew are thrilled with their decision to start a new married life together here in Brambleton. We wish them years of happiness in this one-of-a-kind place to call home.
