Married less than two years, and Brambleton homeowners since July 2019, this adorable couple has truly embraced the energy, promise and opportunity that their new hometown offers.
Prior to buying their new Van Metre townhome in Downtown Brambleton they lived in Reston, VA. They chose Brambleton for its green spaces, its recreation amenities, for the restaurants and shopping at the Town Center, and for its easy commuting location. Or, as Laurel puts it, “When commuting was still a thing.” These days, they work at home and share a smartly-equipped office that they converted from a spare bedroom. Workday mornings start with coffee in the café space adjacent to their kitchen, or on their sunny rooftop deck.
When they’re not working, they’re exercising in Brambleton’s parks and along its miles of trails, taking in the best of Northern Virginia’s nature and attractions just a quick drive away, or enjoying great food and drinks from Town Center hotspots like My Thai Place and AhSo, only a five-minute walk from home.
Laurel recounts that the happy realization “came home” for her that Brambleton was the best choice they could have made last Thanksgiving, just a few months after she and Dustin had moved in. Both sides of their family were there, their handsome home was filled with love and laughter, and she knew that this was where they were destined to be to create a long, happy life together.
“Brambleton really is such a great place to live,” Laurel says. “We could easily see ourselves living here for many, many years to come.”
