The Brambleton Group is excited to announce their first Brambleton Healthy Living Expo on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Happening from 9 AM – 1 PM and free and open to the public, this event will take place in Brambleton’s Legacy Park, adjacent to the Town Center, along with the Brambleton Farmers’ Market. Orchestrated with the community members in mind, the Healthy Living Expo will feature local vendors and happenings with the common goal of promoting the well-being of all residents.
“Health, fitness and wellness have always been top priorities for Brambleton residents, and we know they have universal appeal,” said Kim Adams, Director of Marketing. “From our annual charity races to our builder-provided gym membership program, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle is a part of our culture.” Adams anticipates a countywide movement to join her community’s 2016 Healthy Living Initiative and stands ready with ideas to get people moving and feeling great. Visiting the local Farmers’ Market is just one way to provide healthy choices for your family, and the inaugural Healthy Living Expo adds another active element of fun:
This announcement comes as part of Brambleton’s larger mission to promote healthy living for everyone within the community. Most recently they have launched MyBramHealth, a brand new online destination sponsored by StoneSprings Hospital to help members of the community improve their health and wellness. Earlier this year they sponsored the ArmorUp 30-Day Fitness Challenge and kicked off the 2016 Brambleton Race Series with the 9th Annual Step Sisters’ Ribbon Run/Walk and NatCapLyme’s 6th Annual Loudoun Lyme races.
Healthy living starts at home, and Loudoun is home to numerous parks, trails, sportsplexes and nature preserves that provide easy access to nature and recreation from all corners of the county. Join Brambleton to take healthy living to the next level. More ways to stay active around your community include enjoying recreational amenities such as the trails, parks and pools, and continuing to visit your weekly Farmers’ Markets throughout the summer.
