June is heating up, and so is our calendar of events this month. Everyone seems to be heading outdoors to get some sun, and we have plenty of excuses for you to step outside for an event at Brambleton Town Center:

Regal Summer Movie Express – begins June 23

Summer Movie Express at RegalOn June 23, the Regal Summer Movie Express pulls into Brambleton Town Center once again for a summer full of $1 movies! Head over to Regal Fox Cinemas at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for “G” and “PG”-rated movies to get the kids out of the house while school’s out for the summer. During week one, catch “The Nut Job” (PG) and “Annie” (PG), followed by eight more weeks with two different movies each week!. Bring the kids out for $1 movies and some popcorn for a cause: a portion of the proceeds will go to the Will Rogers Institute charity.

Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series – Toxic Mouse – June 25

Our first concert of the summer takes place on June 25 with 80’s metal tribute band Toxic Mouse! The band will be playing in the Brambleton Town Center Plaza starting at 7 p.m., and gates open at 6 p.m. so you can get there early and set up the perfect view of the stage. Entry is free, beer and wine are allowed inside the fenced area, and picnics, chairs and blankets are welcome — but we ask that you don’t smoke, and leave your pets and tents at home. There will also be one food truck on site at each concert this summer, and the first 200 kids get gifts! See you there!

World Police & Fire Games – starts June 26

Fairfax County is hosting the 2015 World Police and Fire games starting June 26 with 12,000 athletes from 70 countries coming to our neck of the woods to compete in 61 sports in 10 days. You’ll be able to see athletes who are police and fire personnel compete in sports like soccer, swimming, golf, basketball, flag football, tennis and more…even dodgeball! Brambleton’s own Matt Partlow (who you may recognize from the front desk at Sport&Health) will be competing in the golf event. Brambleton Town Center is a proud sponsor of this year’s World Police and Fire Games.
