What fall fashions are in style this year?

The big trend for fall is 70’s-inspired fashions and all things bohemian; looser silhouettes like boyfriend jeans & flared jeans, ponchos, fringe on everything, lace accents, fur accents, and the color brown, which can be spiced up with accents of copper and burgundy.

Fall accessory trends include large statement earrings (or wearing just one statement earring instead of two), fur on everything from shoes to clothing, fringe on everything, pointy toed shoes, and chunkier heels on shoes.

Do you have any fall outfit suggestions for the mom-on-the-go?

The Mom on the go wants to wear something that’s comfortable and practical while still looking cute, and these falls trends allow her to do just that!  She can throw on her boyfriend jeans with a simple t-shirt, or dress it up by adding a pair of heels and a blazer. Fashion meets function!

Fall is cooling off, but what hair styles are hot this season?

There are a couple of hair color trends this season: Technique (natural root with Balayage highlighting), Bronde (caramel and buttery shades) and Rusted Copper. Colors this season tend to be soft and provide movement with color placement. Also, the fun creative colors are very hot right now: blues, purples, pinks…put in with hair color and/or extensions.

Hot cuts in the fall: Medium length (shoulder) styles are very in right now and the “lob” (long bob) especially provides a clean shape with the feel of longer hair. Also, textured ends are coming through, which help soften up the haircut and take away bulkiness.

What else brings people into Eclips in the fall?

Fall is homecoming time!! Our local high schoolers are gearing up to get dolled up for the big dance. Fun styling (curls, waves, crimping), updos & braids are just a few ways to make their hair a fashion statement. Redken Color Rebel also provides fun creative colors in the hair and lasts until you shampoo it out.
