As the community is filled with holiday cheer, with neighbors dashing from shops to parties, decorations and lights lining the streets, and festive events filling the halls at The Barn at Brambleton, we want to take a minute to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had.
Looking back at 2024, there’s so much to be proud of. Our community was founded over twenty years ago, and over the past two decades, we’ve solidified our place as one of the most welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant places to live in Northern Virginia. In just the past year, we’ve seen new shops and restaurants fill our town centers, we’ve watched weddings at The Barn at Brambleton bring together families who’ve grown up in the area, and we were thrilled to be honored as one of the nation’s Top 50 Master Planned Communities (RCLCO).
We can’t contain our excitement headed into 2025. We know that all of this momentum is going to lead to even bigger accomplishments and exciting community events in 2025, and we’re so incredibly proud of the people who call Brambleton home. Here’s a look back at the past year.
There were over 490 homes sold in Brambleton in 2024. Some were residents ready to move up in space or downsize their home within the community (we always say, once a Brambletonian, always a Brambletonian!). Still, others were new residents eager to plant roots here. We’re lucky to have you!
Thanks to Brambleton’s ranking in the Top 50 Master Planned Communities (RCLCO), our community is now on the radar of even more people in our region who are ready to find a place to raise their families and find a people-centric place to live.
Brambleton is where families and friends build their lives, and we’re proud of the community events that bring us together. FriDaze on the Plaza was one of our biggest event series of 2024, and we hope each of you was able to attend at least one of these lively evenings. With DJs, food trucks, performances, and activities, there was indeed something for all ages! Stay tuned for information on FriDaze in 2025!
Earning a spot in the national Top-Selling Master Planned Communities (RCLCO) 2024 list was certainly a highlight, but it wasn’t our only recognition this year. The Barn at Brambleton was recognized with the “Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence” award in the Pace Setters category, which honors the outstanding buildings, interiors, places, and details that make Loudoun County unique. We designed The Barn at Brambleton as an ode to our community’s history and the stunning landscape of our region, and we are so privileged that others see the hard work and talent that went into bringing this dream to life.
Our restaurants are also generating buzz. Chef Jason Maddens of Ahso was featured in Get Out Loudoun, and Himalayan Wild Yak was included in The Washington Post’s Top 40 Restaurants list. We know Brambleton is the place to go for incredible cuisine; now, others are getting in on the secret.
The action never stops at Brambleton! We’re excited about new developments and new tenants across our community. At Brambleton Town Center, Bunny Tea and Rush Bowls have recently opened, while Brambleton Quarter saw Paris Baguette, Ashe Consultants, and Edward Jones move in in 2024. We are also excited to welcome Venture X offering elevated workspace solutions. Brambleton Corner will soon welcome ABC Pediatrics Urgent Care, Biryani Eatery and Bar and bkd Bagels. We continue to establish ourselves as a community where you can find everything you need, from medical services to wonderful restaurants.
The Birchwood 55+ neighborhood saw the opening of its second clubhouse, The Birch House. The community’s newest amenity provides additional space for the HOA staff as well as multi-use rooms for meetings and social gatherings, covered decks overlooking the trails, and bocce courts.
Nearby, in the West Park neighborhood, the Van Metre single-family Grayson model home and Knutson’s new townhouse models are now open!
As the Brambleton community grows, so does our commitment to improving life for our residents. We’ve recently opened a permanent HOA office on Ryan Road, which provides a resource for residents to learn more about the events, services and amenities available.
The Brambleton community’s 5th pool opened in 2024, giving residents another place to cool off during the summer. For those who prefer a natural body of water, Reservoir Park opened in 2024. This 600-acre park formed by the Beaverdam Reservoir has already become a beloved spot for kayaking, fishing, and waterfront hiking.
Additionally, Northstar Boulevard is now open to Route 50, and we were happy to see so many members of the community at the December 17 ribbon-cutting event. This new thoroughfare is truly a testament to Brambleton’s place in our area and the work we put in to ensure the development of this road and its impact on our connectivity to the greater region.
We are so proud of everything accomplished in 2024 on behalf of our residents and tenants.
