As we prepare to celebrate the season and ring in a new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on all we’ve shared as a community. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed new neighbors, packed the streets for the Independence High School Homecoming Parade, ate our way through BRAMtoberfest, and supported local businesses at the EatLoco Farmers Market. Here’s a look back at some of 2025’s highlights, and a peek at what’s ahead.

This year also marked a new milestone for three Brambletonians, Adam Skitol, Jennifer Damme, and Taylor James, who opened a new Edward Jones office in Schooler Plaza. A heartfelt thanks to them for literally investing in the community they call home.
Brambleton shines brightest when the community comes together. From spring through fall, the year was filled with events that celebrated connection and fun.
When the first blooms appeared, families gathered for the Spring Fling Egg Hunt. Summer brought the ever-popular FriDaze series, filling the plaza with music, food, and laughter. And as autumn arrived, the streets once again buzzed with spirit for the homecoming parade and BRAMtoberfest.
Throughout the year, Brambleton Library events offered something for all ages and interests. Little ones enjoyed regular storytimes, while teens explored creative projects and gaming in the Teen Center. Adults found inspiration in language classes, Makerspace workshops, and special programs.
